Hello!
Jessica Podemski is an early career costume designer. She holds a BA in Studio Art-Drawing from Drake University and a BFA in Theatre Production with an emphasis in Costume Design from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
Most recently, she costume designed UWM's production of Pipeline by Dominique Morisseau. She was the resident costume designer for the 2019-2020 season at the Bartell Theatre in Madison, WI costuming productions such as Straight White Men by Young Jean Lee, Expecting Isabel by Lisa Loomer, and Other Desert Cities by Jon Robin Baitz. She has also costume designed two independent short films in the Madison, WI area, done concept character art, and worked as a Wardrobe Production Assistant on Eric Schalba's short films One Foot In and We'll Want for Nothing shot in Spring Green, WI.
This portfolio is her first foray into theatrical make up design, and it has sparked her interest in this art. She hopes to further her skills in future projects.
